Bali Peduli: Committed to Ending HIV in Bali
Founded in 2011 under the guidance of HIV expert Dr. Steve Wignall, Bali Peduli was established by a group of concerned residents to address the growing HIV epidemic in Bali. Dr. Wignall has served as a national HIV policy advisor to the Indonesian National AIDS Commission and as a senior medical advisor to the Clinton Foundation’s HIV treatment initiatives in Papua.
Officially registered as a charity foundation in 2013, Yayasan Bali Peduli delivers a range of impactful programs, including Clinical Services, HIV Outreach & Support, Positive Living, and HIV Education.
With a mission to prevent the spread of HIV and eliminate barriers to care, Bali Peduli provides free and confidential HIV and STI testing and counseling. Results are typically available within an hour, ensuring fast, accessible, and compassionate care for all.
