“Sisters” is Thailand’s first dedicated counseling and service foundation for transgender women, also known as Pattaya Sisters Center. Established in June 2004 by the PSI Foundation (Thailand), a non-profit organization under Population Services International (PSI), it was the first initiative to actively support transgender women. The center was founded through donations and funding from the government, private sector, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
