ASL Roma 3 : The Rome 3 Local Health Authority, The Roma D Local Health Authority (renamed Roma 3 with the transposition of DCA n. U00606 of 30.12.2015 with Resolution n. 1 of 04.01.2016), established with resolution of the Lazio Regional Council n. 8 of 8/08/1994, pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 3 paragraph 1-bis of the legislative decree n. 229/1999 and this Act acquires public legal personality and entrepreneurial autonomy.

Infectious diseases

At the U.O. Control and Prevention of Infectious Diseases – AIDS II level, it is possible to use the following services:

• Visits and consultations about HIV infections and related syndromes
• HIV tests

The HIV test. , anonymous and free, is able to identify the presence of specific antibodies that the body produces in case it comes into contact with this virus, (L. 135/90). The test is not mandatory, but if there has been risky behavior it would be advisable to carry it out. You don’t need a prescription to perform the test. Foreign people, even if without a residence permit, can take the test under the same conditions as an Italian citizen.

• HIV and Hepatitis C Counseling
• Infectious specialist visits for sexually transmitted diseases and other pathologies (by reservation at the CUP)
• Tropical medicine advice for travellers
• Psychological support

ASL Roma 3 : L’Azienda Unità Sanitaria Locale Roma 3, L’Azienda Unità Sanitaria Locale Roma D (ridenominata Roma 3 con il recepimento del DCA n. U00606 del 30.12.2015 con Deliberazione n. 1 del 04.01.2016), costituita con deliberazione della Giunta Regionale del Lazio n. 8 dell’8/08/1994, ai sensi e per gli effetti dell’art. 3 comma 1-bis del decreto legislativo n. 229/1999 e del presente Atto acquisisce personalità giuridica pubblica e autonomia imprenditoriale.

Malattie Infettive

Presso la U.O. Controllo e Prevenzione Malattie Infettive – AIDS II° livello, è possibile usufruire dei seguenti servizi:

• Visite e consulenze circa le infezioni da HIV e sindromi correlate
• Test HIV

Il test anti-HIV. , anonimo e gratuito è in grado di identificare la presenza di anticorpi specifici che l’organismo produce nel caso in cui entra in contatto con questo virus, (L. 135/90). Il test non è obbligatorio, ma se si sono avuti comportamenti a rischio sarebbe opportuno effettuarlo. Per eseguire il test non serve ricetta medica. Le persone straniere, anche se prive del permesso di soggiorno, possono effettuare il test alle stesse condizioni del cittadino italiano.

• Counseling HIV ed Epatite C
• Visite specialistiche infettivologiche per malattie sessualmente trasmesse e altre patologie (previa prenotazione al CUP)
• Consulenze di medicina tropicale per i viaggiatori
• Sostegno psicologico
