ASL Roma 6 : The ASL ROMA 6 protects the health of the population in the territorial area coinciding with the municipalities of Albano Laziale, Anzio, Ardea, Ariccia, Castel Gandolfo, Ciampino, Colonna, Frascati, Genzano, Grottaferrata, Lanuvio, Lariano, Marino, Montecompatri, Monte Porzio Catone, Nemi, Nettuno, Pomezia, Rocca di Papa, Rocca Priora, Velletri.
The complex of the area of competence is characterized by two distinct geographical and socio-economic realities:

• The Castelli Romani, territory including the hilly and mountainous municipalities of the Colli Albani complex;
• The Latin coast, a territory including the cities of the southern portion of the Roman coast.

Provision Centers for HIV Testing and Counseling (CTC)

In each Local Health Authority there is at least one Center for HIV Testing and Counseling (CTC) where citizens can go directly, even without a prescription.
The test is free. Even foreigners temporarily present on Italian territory can access the CTC for the test.
The test can also be carried out at the “Roma Checkpoint”, a non-hospital HIV screening center aimed primarily at the MSM community (approved with DGR n. 610 of 06/08/2019).
The centres, in addition to carrying out the test, offer pre- and post-test information counselling.

Persons positive for HIV infection, as well as subjects exposed to the contagion in the occupational or non-occupational context, for any need for prophylaxis will be sent to the Clinical Centers that perform assistance functions.
Citizens will also be able to take the test at public facilities or at authorized or accredited private laboratories, following a request from a general practitioner or NHS specialist. In this case it will be the duty of the doctor making the request to provide the information in the pre-test interview.

ASL Roma 6 : La ASL ROMA 6 tutela la salute della popolazione nell’ambito territoriale coincidente con i comuni di Albano Laziale, Anzio, Ardea, Ariccia, Castel Gandolfo, Ciampino, Colonna, Frascati, Genzano, Grottaferrata, Lanuvio, Lariano, Marino, Montecompatri, Monte Porzio Catone, Nemi, Nettuno, Pomezia, Rocca di Papa, Rocca Priora, Velletri.
Il complesso dell’area di competenza è caratterizzata da due distinte realtà geografiche e socioeconomiche:

• I Castelli Romani, territorio ricomprendente i comuni collinari e montani del complesso dei Colli Albani;
• Il Litorale latino, territorio ricomprendente le città della porzione sud del litorale romano.

Centri di offerta per il Test per HIV e Counseling (CTC)

In ogni ASL è presente almeno un Centro di offerta per il Test per HIV e Counseling (CTC) dove i cittadini possono rivolgersi direttamente, anche senza prescrizione medica.
Il test è gratuito. Anche gli stranieri temporaneamente presenti sul territorio italiano possono accedere ai CTC per il test.
Il test può essere effettuato anche presso il “Roma Checkpoint”, centro di screening HIV in ambito non ospedaliero rivolto principalmente alla comunità MSM (approvato con DGR n. 610 del 06/08/2019).
I centri, oltre all’effettuazione del test, offrono counseling informativo pre e post-test.

Le persone con positività per l’infezione da HIV, nonché soggetti esposti al contagio in ambito occupazionale o non, per eventuale necessità di profilassi saranno avviate ai Centri Clinici che svolgono funzioni di assistenza.
I cittadini potranno effettuare il test anche presso le strutture pubbliche o presso laboratori privati autorizzati o accreditati, a seguito di richiesta del medico di base o di medico specialista del SSN. In tal caso sarà compito del medico che effettua la richiesta, fornire le informazioni nel colloquio pre-test.
