Cruz Roja – Filial Saavedra : It was founded on March 17, 1921 by a committee of 29 ladies chaired by Mrs. Guillermina de Olivera César de Wilde.
Our Institution assumes the commitment to train Health Professionals with the firm conviction of instilling the values and principles that inspire the Red Cross. This is how, in 1920, the first School of Nursing and Paramedical Specialties of the Red Cross was founded, currently offering an important variety of Courses and Careers with official titles with a focus on health.
We also have a group of more than 200 volunteers where we carry out humanitarian actions together with the communities, promoting risk reduction and the comprehensive development of people, building and strengthening local capacities, promoting the inclusion and participation of all groups without any distinction or discrimination.
HIV test
The only way to get rid of the doubt is to take the test. It is simple, confidential and free in the public system. Get information at the city’s hospitals and health centers. It’s your right.
The tests are simple, confidential and free blood tests, and in some testing centers you can have the result between 15 and 20 minutes. It is not necessary to be fasting or to be of legal age.

Nuestra Institución asume el compromiso de formar Profesionales de la Salud con la firme convicción de inculcar los valores y principios que inspiran a la Cruz Roja. Es así como en el año 1920 se funda la primer Escuela de Enfermería y de Especialidades Paramédicas de la Cruz Roja, ofreciendo en la actualidad una importante variedad de Cursos y Carreras con títulos oficiales con orientación en salud.
Además contamos con un grupo de más de 200 voluntarios donde desarrollamos acciones humanitarias junto a las comunidades, promoviendo la reducción de riesgos y el desarrollo integral de las personas, construyendo y fortaleciendo las capacidades locales, fomentando la inclusión y participación de todos los grupos sin ninguna distinción o discriminación.
Test de VIH
La única manera de sacarte la duda es hacerte el test. Es sencillo, confidencial y gratuito en el sistema público. Informate en los hospitales y centros de salud de la ciudad. Es tu derecho.
Los test son análisis de sangre sencillos, confidenciales y gratuitos, y en algunos centros de testeo podés tener el resultado entre 15 y 20 minutos. No es necesario estar en ayunas ni ser mayor de edad.
