The IFLb – Laboratoriumsmedizin Berlin GmbH – is an independent medical specialist laboratory in the center of Berlin. For more than 35 years we have been offering medical laboratory services for medical practitioners, dentists, hospitals and retirement homes.
In addition to clinical-chemical and haematological basic diagnostics, we offer a wide range of modern, highly specialized diagnostics. We have made a name for ourselves particularly in the fields of endocrinology, human genetics and molecular pathogen diagnostics.
Our many years of laboratory medical experience and the short transport routes for sample material ensure fast and high-quality analysis. In addition, the Institute for Laboratory Medicine Berlin has committed itself to quality management in accordance with the requirements of the DIN EN 15189 standard.
A SPECIALIZED TEAM
The work of the IFLb is carried out by more than 120 committed employees who contribute their qualifications. Our physicians, natural scientists and medical-technical staff are responsible for the management and function of the laboratory areas and ensure smooth order processing to your complete satisfaction.
Our service:
- Collection of the samples from the respective practice by a courier service (in urgent cases – cito diagnostics – a special courier is used)
- Findings are sent by remote data transmission (EDI), fax or post on the same day or by courier the next day
- in the case of highly pathological examination results, immediate telephone transmission
- You will receive extensive instruction and support from our practice support staff

Das IFLb – Laboratoriumsmedizin Berlin GmbH – ist ein unabhängiges medizinisches Fachlabor im Zentrum von Berlin. Seit über 35 Jahren bieten wir labormedizinische Leistungen für niedergelassene Humanmediziner, Zahnärzte, Krankenhäuser und Altenheime an.
Neben klinisch-chemischer und hämatologischer Basisdiagnostik leisten wir ein breites Spektrum modernster hochspezialisierter Diagnostik. Insbesondere in den Bereichen der Endokrinologie, der Humangenetik und der molekularen Erregerdiagnostik haben wir uns einen Namen gemacht.
Unsere langjährige labormedizinische Erfahrung und die kurzen Transportwege für Probenmaterial gewährleisten eine schnelle und qualitativ hochwertige Analytik. Zudem hat sich das Institut für Laboratoriumsmedizin Berlin zum Qualitätsmanagement entsprechend den Forderungen der Norm DIN EN 15189 verpflichtet.

Unsere Mediziner, Naturwissenschaftler und das medizinisch-technische Personal tragen Verantwortung in der Leitung und Funktion der Laborbereiche und stehen für eine reibungslose Auftragsabwicklung zu Ihrer vollsten Zufriedenheit.
Unser Service:
- Abholung der Proben von der jeweiligen Praxis durch einen Kurierdienst (in dringenden Fällen – cito-Diagnostik – wird ein Sonderkurier eingesetzt)
- Befundübermittlung per Datenfernübertragung (DFÜ), Fax oder Post am selben Tag oder durch den Kurier am nächsten Tag
- bei hochpathologischen Untersuchungsergebnissen sofortige telefonische Übermittlung
- durch unsere Mitarbeiter/-innen der Praxisbetreuung erhalten Sie eine umfangreiche Einweisung und Betreuung
