Immigrant Women’s Health Centre

Immigrant Women’s Health Centre. We are a sexual health and reproductive health clinic. We provide testing, treatment, counselling and outreach to all genders for a wide range of issues with a multilingual, all-female staff. Our services are covered by your health card (any province) or federal papers. If you do not have these your costs will be covered by IWHC Toronto for free. Some fees that are not covered are the HPV vaccination, Birth Control, some antibiotics, specialists and services outside of IWHC Toronto.

We offer FREE sexual/reproductive health clinical services, information and outreach to all genders for a wide range of sexual health issues with a multilingual, all-female staff; our services are provided in a non-judgmental, culturally-sensitive environment.

Clinical Services:

• Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) testing, treatment and counselling
• Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) testing and counselling (nominal only)
• Syphilis testing, treatment and counselling
• Hepatitis Blood work, Vaccination for Hepatitis B
• Human Papillomavirus (HPV) testing, treatment, vaccination, counselling
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) testing, treatment and counselling
• Infection testing, treatment and counselling
• Pap smear tests (Done every 3 years after age 25 and you are sexually active for 1 year)
• Birth Control prescriptions, treatment, counselling and low cost sales including Plan B
• Intrauterine Device (IUD), Intrauterine System (IUS) insertions, same day insertions, follow up, removal counselling and sales
